Branden Raughton, Founder

Branden started as a field Landman in 2002, working with Thunderbird Oil & Gas, Holland Acquisitions, and Circle Energy. Branden eventually became a partner at Circle Energy. He transitioned to an in-house role with EXCO Resources in 2009, and has since worked primarily in-house, most recently with Lonestar Resources in Fort Worth. His experience spans business development, rig line, surface land, midstream and A&D. Branden contributes to Carter Land & Minerals, LLC a vast understanding of Land management, as well as over 20 years of experience across the most prolific basins in the Lower 48.

Branden has a BS from the University of Texas at Arlington. He currently resides in Keller with his wife, 4-year old son, baby daughter, and 2 dogs, Harper and Scrappy.
